The first public information meeting for the Assembly Street Railroad Separation Project will be held on June 5, 2018 at Seawell’s, located at 1125 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC. The meeting will take place from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and all members of the public are encouraged to attend. The open-house style meeting will feature preliminary study area maps, maps depicting potential environmental constraints, and the preliminary purpose and need for the project. Members of the public will be able to ask questions in an informal setting with employees of SCDOT and the project management team. All attendees are encouraged to share their feedback and provide questions and comments for SCDOT to consider during the project development process. Handouts will include maps, a project fact sheet, a survey, and a comment form. Translation services are available upon request.
